Baby Julian Tragically Dies

Father Charged with Murder
Today, Tuesday 3 May 2016, police charged Julian’s father, 33-year-old Robert Edmond Hinz of Bournemouth, with murder. He is due to appear at Bournemouth Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Wednesday 4 May.
“Following a thorough and detailed investigation, we have consulted with the Crown Prosecution Service who has authorised the charge of murder,” said Detective Inspector Richard Dixey of Dorset Police’s Major Crime Investigation Team.
“Family liaison officers have updated Julian’s family with this development and our thoughts are with them.”
The detective added: “We ask the family be given privacy at this difficult and traumatic time. It is also important to stress that it would be entirely inappropriate for Dorset Police to comment further ahead of the trial. The justice system must be allowed to run its course.”
