Van Blaze in Hamble Leaves Two Men Severely Burned

Two men in their 20s were rushed to hospital with serious burns after a van erupted in flames on Westfield Common, Hamble, just before 7.15pm on Sunday.

Firefighters Battle Intense Blaze

Crews from Hamble, Hightown, and St Mary’s arrived swiftly. Using breathing apparatus and hoses, they battled the fierce fire to bring it under control.

Gas Leak Suspected as Cause

The van was gutted by the blaze, while a nearby car suffered heat damage. Authorities believe a gas cylinder leak at the back of the van sparked the fire.
