A14 SHUT IN BOTH DIRECTIONS AFTER VAN CRASH
The A14 in Northamptonshire is completely closed east and west after a van collision sparked chaos on the roads.
Where’s the Closure?
- Eastbound shut between M6/M1 Catthorpe Interchange and J1 Cold Ashby.
- Westbound closed from J2 Kelmarsh to Catthorpe Interchange.
Northamptonshire Police are on scene investigating the crash.
Forced Detours for Drivers
If you’re heading east from the M6 or M1, divert south on the M1 to junction 15, then take the A45 north/east to junction 13 to rejoin the A14.
Westbound traffic must exit at junction 2, follow the A508 north to Market Harborough, then take the A4304 west to connect with the M1 at junction 20.
Expect Delays – Avoid If You Can
Motorists are warned to allow extra travel time and plan alternative routes while the police clear the scene.
