Man Arrested After Brutal Slough Assault
Police have snapped up a man in connection with a savage attack in Slough.
The 38-year-old local was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and remains in custody.
Victim Seriously Injured in Chalvey Road East
The assault happened around 8:45pm on October 5th on Chalvey Road East.
The victim, a man in his forties, suffered serious head injuries after being struck in the head. He remains in critical condition in hospital.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
“We have made an arrest in connection with this investigation,” said Detective Inspector Tracey Smyth of Slough police station.
“We believe this to be an isolated incident and are not searching for anyone else.”
