Teen Stabbed to Death in North Woolwich – 25-Year-Old Arrested
A 15-year-old boy has been tragically stabbed to death in North Woolwich. The victim was found with fatal wounds on Woodman Street Friday evening.
Early Morning Arrest Made in Newham
Police swooped on a suspect at a Newham address just before 5am on Saturday, 12 December. The 25-year-old man remains in police custody as the investigation intensifies.
Police and Ambulance Called to Scene
- Emergency services arrived at 6:50pm on 11 December.
- The teenage boy was sadly declared dead at the scene.
- His family have been informed of the heartbreaking loss.
Investigation Underway, Police Ask for Help
Detective Superintendent Paul Whiteman, Head of CID for North East BCU, said: “I am shocked at this tragic loss of a young life. An arrest has been made but the investigation is still in its early stages.”
“I urge anyone in the community with information to step forward. We need your help to bring those responsible to justice.”
“Local officers will increase patrols in the area to reassure residents and tackle violent crime.”
