Two Men Charged with Attempted Murder After Cynon Valley Shooting
Police have charged two men following a shocking gun attack in the Cynon Valley. Oliver Pearce, 30, from Rhydyfelin, and Ricky Webber, 28, from Porth, face attempted murder charges after shots were fired into a home on Windsor Street, Trecynon.
The pair were charged late Friday and remain in custody ahead of their hearing at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.

The terrifying incident unfolded around 9.30pm on Monday, February 1, sparking a major police investigation.
Manhunt Underway for Third Suspect
Detectives are hunting 33-year-old James Drakes from Tylorstown, believed to be linked to the shooting. Police have urged anyone with information on Drakes’ whereabouts or dashcam and CCTV footage from the area to come forward immediately.
“We know this incident has been concerning for residents in the Cynon Valley, particularly as it involved a firearm, something which is thankfully very rare in this area,” said Detective Inspector Lianne Rees.
“We have been working tirelessly to apprehend anyone involved, and we hope these latest charges reassure the public that robust action is being taken.”
