Police Hunt White BMW in Walton-on-Thames Murder Probe
Detectives are stepping up their manhunt after a murder and attempted murder rocked Walton-on-Thames two weeks ago on April 22. Officers are urging anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage from the area to come forward.
Residents can expect a bigger police presence today, May 6, as enquiries ramp up. Investigators want to speak to anyone who was near Church Street, Walton-on-Thames, or Temple Field Close, Addlestone between 1.30pm and 4.15pm on the day of the attack.
Key Vehicle Spotted Leaving Crime Scene
The investigation zooms in on a white BMW 1 Series with the registration LM64 LVW. The car was seen leaving Church Street and driving through Walton Lane, Weybridge High Street, and Elmgrove Road, before heading south on the A318/Chertsey Road into Addlestone. It was later found abandoned near Sayers Court Allotments.
Police Plea: Did You See the BMW?
Detective Chief Inspector David Springett said, “We believe several vehicles used the car parks behind M&S, right next to the incident. If you were there between 1.30pm and 2.30pm on April 22 and have any info or dashcam footage, please contact us immediately.”
“We also want CCTV from local residents or businesses covering the areas mentioned earlier, especially featuring the white BMW,” he added.
