Brutal Burglary Shakes Walton-on-Thames

Police are hunting witnesses after a frightening aggravated burglary in Walton-on-Thames last night (11 May).

Suspects Armed with Crowbars Attack Officers

Officers were called to a Felix Road home at around 9pm following reports that a gang of men armed with crowbars had broken in. Two female police officers arriving first were attacked by one of the suspects.

The gang fled before backup arrived. Armed police, a dog handler, and a police helicopter scoured the area in pursuit.

Two Men Arrested as Investigation Continues

  • A 29-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
  • A 30-year-old Londoner faces charges of aggravated burglary and assaulting the two police officers.

Both officers are expected to make a full recovery. Police remain in close contact with the Walton community as inquiries proceed.
