Tragic Tipton Crash Claims Young Biker’s Life
A 21-year-old motorbike rider has died after a smash with a car in Tipton this afternoon.
Fatal Collision on St Marks Road
Police were called to St Marks Road at around 4.10pm BST following reports of a crash between a motorbike and a car.
The biker suffered serious injuries and, despite emergency teams’ best efforts, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The car driver stayed put and is assisting officers with their investigation.
Police Launch Urgent Appeal for Witnesses
“We have specialist officers supporting the man’s family at this difficult time,” said Sergeant Chris Ridge from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
“I am urgently appealing for anyone with information who hasn’t already spoken to us to come forward. We especially want to hear from witnesses who saw the crash or the bike beforehand, and anyone with CCTV or dash cam footage.”
