Tragic M5 Crash Claims Life of Plymouth Man
Police rushed to the M5 southbound on Sunday, June 12th, after a serious collision between junction 27 (Tiverton) and junction 28 (Cullompton) at around 11:50 a.m.
One driver was airlifted to hospital but sadly died shortly after arrival. The victim has been named as 55-year-old Richard Ede from Plymouth. His next of kin have been informed.
M5 Shut for Hours as Investigation Unfolds
The stretch of motorway was shut for several hours, causing delays. Authorities thanked the public for their patience and cooperation during the closure.
