Teen Boy Robbed at Knifepoint in Broad Daylight in Livingston
A 14-year-old boy was threatened and robbed of his mobile phone on Alderstone Road, Livingston, on Sunday afternoon, July 16.
Three Teens Turn Aggressive, One Threatens With Weapon
The boy was walking alone at around 2.45pm when three male youths approached him. When he refused to hand over his phone, the group turned hostile. One of the offenders claimed to be armed, threatening and then assaulting the youngster before making off along Alderstone Road towards Eliburn.
Police Hunt Trio – Descriptions Released
- Suspect One: White male, 15-16 years old, about 5’7″, ginger hair, wearing a grey tracksuit.
- Suspect Two: White male, 15-16 years old, 5’8″, stocky build, dressed in dark shorts and a blue T-shirt.
- Suspect Three: White male, 15 years old, dark blond hair, clad in a black jacket and jogging bottoms.
Police Appeal: Witnesses Urged to Speak Up
Detective Constable Natalie Civil from West Lothian CID condemned the “distressing” robbery. Fortunately, the victim was not physically harmed but remains shaken.
“We are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this incident or seen these youths in the area,” said DC Civil.
