Shock at Ashdown Forest: Visitor Hit by Falling Tree
Ashdown Forest Trust is investigating after a member of the public was struck by a falling tree during routine forest management work.
Safety Halted Amid Probes
The incident happened on January 25th while rangers were managing old, damaged, or decaying trees as part of their regular duties. The Trust promptly informed the Health & Safety Executive and suspended all further tree work pending the investigation.
