Tragic blaze guts half of a four-room flat on a seven-storey building’s ground floor. Firefighters rescued a man trapped inside, but despite hospital efforts, he later died.

Firefighters Race to Scene

The fire brigade rushed to the scene at 12:14pm on Tuesday, 14 March. Within 40 minutes, the flames were out. Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters from Soho, Shoreditch, and Euston stations tackled the inferno.

Investigation Underway

Authorities are now probing the cause of the fire. No further details have been released yet.
