A woman close to the family, choosing to remain anonymous, revealed her husband is “a broken man” after dedicating countless hours fitting out and building the property’s interior.
Firefighters Battle Fierce Flames
Kent Fire and Rescue scrambled seven fire engines plus a height vehicle to tackle the raging inferno on Dymchurch Road. Crews wore breathing apparatus and fought the flames with hose reels and main jets.
The fire spread swiftly to the roof, badly damaging the rafters. Emergency services closed the road while the intense firefight went on.
Family Left Picking Up Pieces
The family had just started moving in and had recently rendered the exterior. Now, their dream home lies in ruins. Fire investigators remain on site, probing the cause of the devastating blaze.
