Sex Assault Scare Hits Cannock Nature Reserve
Local cops are on high alert after two separate sexual assault reports at a nature reserve near Hemlock Way and Hill Street, Cannock.
Victims Escaped But Left Shaken
The first attack happened on Sunday, September 10. A woman was grabbed by an unknown man but escaped unharmed when the suspect fled quickly.
Then, just three days later on September 13, a teenage girl was also grabbed at the same spot. She managed to get away but was left visibly shaken after the terrifying ordeal.
Police Hunt Braided Suspect
Officers believe both attacks were carried out by the same man. He is described as a slim, mixed-heritage male, late teens to early twenties, with braided hair down to his ears.
Police have ramped up patrols around the area and are providing full support to the victims. They stress these incidents are rare but take every report seriously.
