Teen Hit by BMW in Saltdean – Police Hunt Witnesses

Police are appealing for help after a 15-year-old boy was struck by a car in Saltdean early Wednesday morning.

Accident Details

The crash happened at around 7:20 AM on April 24 at the busy junction of the A259 and Saltdean Park Road. A white BMW collided with the teenager, who is from nearby Peacehaven.

The boy suffered serious injuries but they are not life-threatening. He was rushed to the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton for urgent treatment.

The driver of the BMW, a 49-year-old man also from Peacehaven, escaped without injury.

Authorities want anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam or CCTV footage from the area to come forward. They stress that any details could prove crucial in piecing together what happened.
