Man Hospitalised After Brawl Sparks Late-Night Chaos in Grove Park
A man was rushed to hospital following a punch-up at a Grove Park shop last night. The clash erupted just after 9:30 PM on June 17, outside a shop on Baring Road near Coppers Lane.
Police and Ambulance Rush to Scene
Officers and London Ambulance crews were quick to respond. They found one man injured and sent him to a south London hospital. Thankfully, his injuries are not life-threatening.
Fight Escalates Into Car Crash
One of the men involved fled the scene but ended up crashing his car in the getaway attempt. No arrests have been made yet as police continue to investigate the fracas.
“Police were called at 21:34hrs on Monday, 17 June to reports of a fight between two men at a shop in Baring Road, SE12,” a Metropolitan Police spokesperson said. “As one of the men ran away, he was involved in a collision with a car. Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and a crime scene was put in place. The man was taken to a south London hospital where his injuries were deemed not to be life-threatening or life-changing. No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue.”
