Cut to the Neck During Street Fight
Police are hunting for witnesses after a man suffered a slash to the neck during a scuffle on Castle Road, Torquay, at around 1pm on Wednesday, January 15.
The victim was involved in an altercation with another man. Officers say both knew each other, so the public isn’t at risk.
Arrest Made, Suspect on Bail
A 44-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of wounding causing grievous bodily harm without intent. He’s now out on bail as enquiries continue.
Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up
Detective Constable Rachael Delaney appealed directly: “We want to speak to two individuals who had a verbal exchange with both parties. Their info could crack this case.”
