Three Men Arrested After Fatal Scarborough Crash
Deadly Smash on Silver Street
Three men have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a man in Scarborough in the early hours of Saturday, March 8. At around 1:45 am, North Yorkshire Police rushed to Silver Street after reports of a collision involving a white Audi and a pedestrian.
Despite frantic efforts by paramedics, the man died at the scene from his injuries.
Rapid Police Action and Arrests
Police swiftly found the white Audi at Peasholm Gardens. The trio was later arrested at a property in Scarborough linked to the incident. A police cordon remains on Silver Street as investigations continue.
Police Reassure Shocked Community
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said, “We understand that people will be shocked and concerned to hear what has happened overnight. High-visibility police patrols will be in Scarborough throughout the weekend to provide reassurance to the local community.”
