Three Nabbed After Wild SUV Chase in Darlaston
Three suspects were busted following a high-speed police chase involving a cloned, stolen SUV in Darlaston. The dramatic pursuit ended with all occupants in custody.
Police Spot Stolen SUV and Give Chase
Officers from the Road Crime Team spotted the suspicious SUV, already linked to recent crimes. When the driver ignored orders to stop, police launched a fast-paced pursuit across the area.
Suspects Flee On Foot but Police Are Quick to Act
The chase came to a halt when the vehicle stopped and the trio tried to make a run for it on foot. However, officers swiftly closed in and arrested all three nearby.
Criminals Wanted for Multiple Offences
Police revealed that all three were wanted for various crimes. One suspect faces at least seven outstanding warrants for offences including multiple thefts and robberies.
“This was a great result by officers who were able to act quickly and prevent further crime. Taking stolen vehicles off the road and arresting those responsible remains a top priority,” said a spokesperson for the Road Crime Team.
The stolen SUV has been recovered and is now undergoing a forensic examination as part of the ongoing investigation.
