Chaos struck Linthorpe Village as Boots Pharmacy was forced to close today following a dramatic ram-raid in the early hours.
Shattered Shopfront and Police Investigation Underway
Police are currently at the scene on Linthorpe Road, dealing with significant damage. Thieves smashed through the metal shutter, leaving a huge hole in the shopfront.
Forensic teams have cordoned off the area as officers launch a major investigation into the break-in.
