Despite the gas canisters aboard, the driver didn’t mark the camper van to alert emergency crews to the risk. Luckily, all occupants had escaped the burning vehicle before firefighters arrived, avoiding any injuries.
Firefighters Battle Blaze Using Breathing Gear and Thermal Cameras
Firefighters tackled the blaze wearing breathing apparatus and used two hose reel jets to douse the flames. They also deployed a thermal imaging camera to monitor the gas containers’ stability during the intense fight.
The camper van is now a total wreck, with fire believed to have started accidentally. Thankfully, no one was hurt in the fiery incident.
