Eleven Men Charged in Major Kent and Essex Organised Crime Crackdown
Eleven men have been hit with charges in a massive police operation targeting an alleged organised crime group. The Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate led the investigation.
Raids Across the South East
On Wednesday 12 August 2020, officers executed multiple warrants across Ashford, Canterbury, Maidstone, and Sheerness. The hunt extended to Bristol, Essex, Hertfordshire, and London, with backup from the Metropolitan Police, Hertfordshire Constabulary, and Avon and Somerset Police.
Cash, Cars, and Cannabis Seized
The raids uncovered around £40,000 in cash and an Audi car. Police also busted large cannabis grows in Ashford and Watton-at-Stone, Hertfordshire.

Court Dates and Bail
All suspects appeared at Medway Magistrates on Friday 14 August. Except for Dashmair Dishi, who was granted bail, the rest were remanded in custody. They are due back at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday 11 September.
A 31-year-old man from Sheerness and a 26-year-old from Brentwood arrested during the raids were released — one under investigation, the other with no charges.
