Yorkshire Farming Couple Amanda and Clive Owen Split After 23 Years

TV stars Amanda and Clive Owen of Our Yorkshire Farm have announced their split after more than two decades together. The couple, who share nine children, tied the knot in 2000 following their first meeting in 1995.

A Difficult Decision

Amanda, 47, revealed their separation in an Instagram Story. In a heartfelt joint statement, the pair said: “Clive and I regret to inform you that we have made the difficult decision to divorce. It hasn’t been easy, but we both believe it’s the best decision for our family’s future.”

They assured fans they will continue to work together on their farm and put their children’s wellbeing first. The statement ended with a request for privacy during this tough period.

Marital Trouble Rumours and Amanda’s ITV Chat

Rumours of trouble in paradise had been swirling for months. Last December, Amanda faced the speculation head-on during an interview on ITV’s Lorraine. She admitted there had been rough patches but stressed resilience.

“You have your rough patches. However, you must take the rough with the smooth. We’ve just discussed how to weather a storm. So we’re pretty tough in the hills,” she said.

She added, “If you are proud of what you are doing, you must shoulder some of the responsibility. In other words, get on with it.”

Amanda Clears Up Social Media Silence on Clive

Amanda also addressed fans’ curiosity over why Clive rarely appears on her social channels. In an interview with OK! Magazine, she explained their different roles on the farm.

“Clive will serve tea and change nappies, while I will shear sheep and shovel s**t. Being a farmer is difficult work, and I will go to any length to provide for my family. To make a living, you have to have your fingers in a lot of pies.”

The couple remain united in their farming life despite their split, focusing on their nine children and the future of Ravenseat Farm.
