Tragic Crash on A34 Near Abingdon Claims Life of 24-Year-Old Man

A young man has died in a horror smash on the A34 yesterday morning. The fatal crash happened at around 9.15am on January 3 near Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

White Mercedes E63 AMG Crashes Off Northbound Carriageway

The victim, a 24-year-old local man, was driving a white Mercedes E63 AMG when it left the northbound carriageway. The car reportedly veered off the road somewhere between the Marcham Interchange and the Faringdon Road overbridge.

The vehicle then slammed into an embankment before coming to rest on the overbridge. Emergency services rushed to the scene following the smash.

Driver Dies at Scene – No Other Casualties

Tragically, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the only person in the car, with nobody else injured. Police confirmed no arrests have been made so far.
