Knife-wielding thug locked up after savage home attack in Luton
A ruthless criminal from Luton has been jailed for launching a brutal knife assault on a woman in her own home. Saeed Ali, 29, forced his way inside and viciously attacked the victim, leaving her seriously injured.
Brutal knife attack caught on CCTV
On Thursday, 20 March 2025, the woman opened her front door expecting a neighbour. Instead, Ali barged in waving a large knife. He launched a savage attack, inflicting serious wounds before fleeing the scene.
High-speed arrest after dashcam chase and massive drug haul
Detectives quickly identified Ali using CCTV and dashcam footage. He was found hiding in a hotel on Dunstable Road that same weekend. Ali tried to make a run for it but was caught after a short chase. During his arrest, cops uncovered a huge stash of drugs in a backpack he abandoned.

Harsh court sentence for violent and drug offences
Ali was hit with a lengthy sentence for nine offences, including grievous bodily harm, threats to kill, possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, and carrying a bladed weapon. He was also convicted for a 2022 drug supply case.
