At 7.49pm on Saturday, December 10, police responded to reports of a corrosive substance attack on Brimsdown Avenue, Enfield. A woman was found injured at the scene.

Shortly after, officers located a second victim, a man, at the nearby Albany Leisure Centre. Both victims received urgent attention from emergency services.

The London Fire Brigade and Ambulance Service attended both locations promptly. Paramedics assessed the injuries on site and transported one victim to hospital. Fortunately, the injuries sustained were classified as non-life threatening and non-life changing.

Police have launched a full investigation into the incident but have not made any arrests at this time. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
