Wiltshire Police have launched an urgent search for Anita Wiltshire, a 54-year-old lollipop lady well known in Highworth. Anita disappeared without a trace on the morning of Wednesday, February 5, last seen around 9am.
Anita is about 5ft 5ins tall, wears glasses, and has greying hair tied up. She was last spotted wearing a grey fleece over a red hoodie, paired with jeans.
Police have described Anita’s disappearance as “very concerning.” A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have seen Anita or has any information on her whereabouts to contact us as a matter of urgency. Her family and friends are extremely worried about her.”
Authorities are urging anyone who spots Anita or has any information to call Wiltshire Police immediately on 999, quoting log 85 of February 5. Locals are also encouraged to check dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage for any signs of Anita around Highworth.
