A ruthless cocaine supply ring operating across Warwickshire has been smashed by police. Tens of thousands of pounds in assets were seized after a multi-year investigation that ended in multiple jail terms for those involved.

The operation began to unravel in June 2023 when 45-year-old Manjinder Pama, then of Nuneaton, was caught red-handed with £11,000 in cash and nearly £13,000 worth of cocaine. He was swiftly convicted and sentenced to six years in prison.

Detectives uncovered a sprawling supply chain extending from Pama’s own crew up to his supplier. Shockingly, Pama ran the operation from behind bars using coded language, referring to drugs as “building materials.”

Rachel Byrne, 34, from Worcestershire, and Shaun Neal, 39, from Nuneaton, were stopped in 2023 during a traffic stop where police found another £13,000 worth of cocaine. Further investigation led to the arrest of Kamlesh Kaur, 40, of Wolverhampton. Lisa Banks, 39, from Nuneaton, was arrested by police in October 2023. All were taken into custody in November 2024 following a thorough review of the evidence.

Upstream supplier Dipak Ram, 41, from Birmingham, was also arrested with £13,000 of cocaine and £10,000 in cash.

On Friday, April 17, Warwick Crown Court handed down heavy sentences to the gang members involved. Manjinder Pama received an additional 33 months in prison along with a Serious Crime Prevention Order. Dipak Ram was jailed for 11 years and also given a Serious Crime Prevention Order. Rachel Byrne was sentenced to four years and nine months in prison, while Kamlesh Kaur received a four-year jail term.

Lisa Banks was handed a two-year suspended sentence, alongside rehabilitation and an electronic curfew. Shaun Neal received an 18-month suspended sentence with unpaid work and rehabilitation requirements.

This crackdown sends a clear message that Warwickshire’s streets will not be a playground for drug dealers.
