A 40-year-old man is currently in police custody after a series of indecent exposure reports unsettled the Rothwell area.

The suspect was arrested in connection with an incident that occurred earlier this month. Leeds Safeguarding officers are now investigating potential linked cases to determine if there are further connections.

Local concerns have grown amid a police appeal for information. Inspector Mark Lund of Leeds South Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) said, “We know people are worried, especially those who use the green spaces for walks and runs. We have a man in custody, and investigations continue.”

He added, “Anyone affected or with information should come forward to help us.”

To report information, contact West Yorkshire Police via live chat at www.westyorkshire.police.uk/livechat or call 101, quoting crime reference number 13260216006.

Community safety remains the top priority as police pursue all leads. Residents are encouraged to stay alert and report any relevant details to assist the ongoing investigation.
