Two men have been charged in connection with the tragic stabbing death of 24-year-old Jonah Ho-Shue in Hornsey.

Jonah Ho-Shue was fatally stabbed once on the evening of Thursday, 4 January 2024, in Albert Road, Hornsey. The young man’s death has deeply affected the local community.

James Thompson, 24, from Barnet, and Dante Ashley, 25, from Haringey, have been formally charged with Jonah’s murder. Both suspects were arrested shortly after the incident and appeared before Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 4 February.

Initially, both men were released on conditional bail while the investigation continues. The Metropolitan Police’s Crime Command detectives are leading this high-profile case.

On 3 February, Dante Ashley was additionally charged with perverting the course of justice. Police remain committed to bringing justice for Jonah Ho-Shue as the inquiry progresses.
