Lemarr Stevens, 24, of Common Road, Slough, has been sentenced to nearly four years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple drug offences and possession of deadly knives. On Tuesday, 20 January, Reading Crown Court handed down a sentence of three years and nine months.
Stevens was apprehended following a high-speed police foot chase on 5 February 2025. Officers spotted him running along a footpath from Grampian Way to Common Road. Upon searching him, police found £500 in cash and 14.33 grams of cannabis, which led to his immediate arrest on suspicion of intent to supply drugs.
Further investigation revealed a lock knife and a mobile phone containing evidence of drug dealing, which Stevens had discarded during the chase. A Section 18 search warrant executed at his home uncovered a disturbing collection of weapons and drugs, including a zombie knife, a samurai sword, an MDMA pill, and nearly one kilogram of cannabis valued at £6,000.
On 9 October 2025, UK Border Force intercepted a parcel at Coventry International Hub addressed to Stevens. The parcel contained 1.02 kilograms of herbal cannabis worth £10,000. A subsequent police search also uncovered seven deals of cannabis, scales, cash, and additional drug paraphernalia.
PC Joshua Bennett, the lead investigator, stated, “Stevens showed complete disregard for the law and the harm these substances cause in our communities. This sentencing sends a clear message: we will keep targeting drug criminals through visible patrols and covert operations to protect our neighbourhoods.”
He added, “If you know about drug dealing in Slough, report it confidentially via 101, our website, or anonymously through Crimestoppers.”
