Wiltshire Police are appealing for information following an assault in Corsham town centre on the evening of March 28, in which a man in his 20s sustained a head injury.
The victim was attacked shortly after 9.50pm while walking along Martingate towards The Corsham Galleries. Two men, who had been hiding nearby, carried out the assault. The injured man was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment.
Police investigations are ongoing as officers seek witnesses and anyone who recognises the suspects involved in the attack.

The two suspects, who had been in Corsham with a third man before the assault, reportedly waited around a corner before attacking the victim. The victim’s head injury has caused serious concern for both the police and the local community.
