Warwickshire Police have launched a murder investigation following the death of Neil Muller, aged 54, who was found with fatal stab wounds to his chest at a property on Langley Road in Claverdon early on Sunday morning, 7 June.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 6:15am. Despite efforts by paramedics, Mr Muller was pronounced dead at the property at 6:37am.

Within an hour of the discovery, officers arrested a 55-year-old woman from Birmingham on suspicion of murder. She has since been released on bail as investigations continue.

Police responded promptly to reports from the ambulance service regarding a man suffering a chest wound requiring emergency care. Despite swift medical intervention attempts, Mr Muller was declared deceased at the scene.

Warwickshire Police have reassured the community that there is no wider risk to the public following the incident. They continue to work to maintain safety in the area.

Neil Muller had recently been appointed CEO of the technology firm Node4. A company spokesman expressed devastation over his death, praising his energy, passion, and significant impact in a short time. They extended their condolences to Mr Muller’s family, colleagues, and friends.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mr Muller’s death is ongoing. Warwickshire Police have appealed for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward to assist with their inquiries.
