A cannabis cultivation has been found inside a home following an initial report of a burglary.

 

Kent Police was called at around 3am on 21 September 2020 to a report of a house having a smashed window in Luton Road, Chatham.

 

Police attended the property and are reported to have found cannabis plants inside two of the rooms.

 

As part of enquiries, a 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and being concerned in the production of cannabis.

 

He has since been released from custody pending further enquiries.
