The New Year Queue on the M20 as Dover Port set to close at 5pm to implement Brexit

DFDS say the last departure today will be 5pm to Calais.  The closure is to support the implementation of BREXIT the port will not accept any vehicles for check-in from 5pm on Thursday. Vehicles approaching the port will be assembled in the Buffer Zone until 4am on  1st January 2021 when check-in will commence
