Two suspects have been charged with drugs offences following arrests in Dover

 

A vehicle failed to stop for officers when requested to do so in Clarendon Road on the evening of Sunday 21 February 2021.

 

Following a short pursuit, the vehicle was found nearby, having collided with a fence near Malvern Road.

 

Lauren Avery, of Temple Ewell, Dover, has since been charged with possession of class A and class B drugs, and a psychoactive substance, all with intent to supply.

 

The 25-year-old is also charged with possession of an imitation firearm, dangerous driving, failing to stop, driving without insurance and driving without the correct licence.

 

Demi Douglas, 19, of The Linces, Dover, has been charged with possession of class A and class B drugs, and a psychoactive substance, all with intent to supply. She is also charged with possession of an imitation firearm.

 

Ms Avery and Ms Douglas are due to appear before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 23 February 2021.
