An important witness to an assault in Gravesend is encouraged to contact Kent Police

 

Officers in North Kent CID are investigating a report that a man in his 40s was assaulted in Peacock Street by two men at around 8.50am on Wednesday 17 March 2021. The incident took place close to the junction with St Andrew’s Road.

 

A member of the public witnessed the assault taking place and intervened to assist the victim, who was taken to hospital for treatment to a cut to their head.

 

Officers have reviewed a number of lines of enquiry while they continue to build the case, but are yet to hear from the person who assisted the injured man.
