A man who did gardening work at a Gravesend property has been charged with burglary

On 17 June 2022, the man approached the homeowners and, along with another man, offered to perform some gardening services for a set fee.

While the men were gardening at the house on Valley Drive in Gravesend, a large sum of money was stolen, as well as a bank card, which was later used at a local shop.

Officers conducted an investigation, and a man was arrested and later charged.

Daniel Johnson, 39, of Oak Road in Gravesend, is accused of burglary and fraud.

Mr Johnson appeared in Medway Magistrates’ Court on June 22nd and was bailed to appear in Woolwich Crown Court on July 20th.
