Officers are appealing for information following a number of thefts from cars in Hawkinge and Densole.

Handbags, purses and other valuables were taken in the incidents.

• Between 1 and 2 September 2020 a wallet, bank cards and earphones were stolen from a car in Pannell Drive.

• On 2 September a purse and bank cards were taken from another vehicle in Pannell Drive.

• On 7 September a bag was stolen from a car in St Johns Way, Densole.

Sergeant Paula Cutter said: ‘We are keen to hear from anyone in Hawkinge and Densole that may have suffered a vehicle interference or theft and have not yet reported it. Our research into these incidents suggest there may be victims who have yet to come forward.’

Two men and a woman have been arrested in connection with the incidents. They are all in their twenties and are currently in police custody.
