Three in court following vehicle thefts in Lydd

 

Three suspects have been charged after two vehicles were stolen during a burglary in Lydd.

 

Kent Police was contacted after a van and a car were stolen from the Vine Lands area of Lydd overnight between Sunday 27 and Monday 28 September 2020.

 

Officers investigated and the van and the car have since been recovered.

 

Jayden Jones-McGilvray, 20, of Richmond, Surrey, George Paton, 19, of Bromley, and Harrison Walker, 19, of no fixed abode, have since been charged with burglary.

 

The three suspects appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 30 September and were remanded in custody to appear before Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 2 November.

 

A woman in her 20s arrested as part of the investigation has been released under investigation.
