Kent police are looking for witnesses after a possible assault

 

 

 

Officers investigating a report of a possible assault in Sandwich are looking for witnesses.

 

 

 

At around 9.20 a.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2022, Kent Police were called after a man in his 70s was admitted to a local hospital with injuries.

 

 

 

Three people were said to have punched and kicked him to the ground the night before (15 June) in Strand Street between 10.30pm and the next morning.

 

 

 

Officers are investigating the full circumstances of the incident, but anyone with information or private CCTV that can assist investigations is asked to call Kent Police on 01843 222289 and quote 46/116007/22.
