Two men have been charged with carrying out a violent assault in Tonbridge




Officers were called to Welland Road at 11.30am on Saturday 12 December 2020, following reports of a disturbance. A man in his 20s was taken to a local hospital with head injuries.


Callum Found, aged 18, of no fixed address was arrested and later charged with wounding with intent and with possessing an offensive weapon (namely a metal wrench) in a public place.


Harry Mansfield, 22, also of no fixed address, was also arrested and charged with the same offences. He was further charged with threatening a person with a bladed article in a public place and with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.


Both suspects appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday 14 December where they were remanded to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on 6 January 2021.
