A suspected lead thief has been charged with causing criminal damage to a Whitstable church.

Kent Police officers were called to All Saints Church in Church Street at 9.10pm on Tuesday 24 March 2020 following a report that the building had been damaged.

Samuel Morcom, 38, of Long Rock, Whitstable, was later arrested and has since been charged with two offences.
