Tragic biker crash near Stockbridge claims life of Andrew Mayer
A motorcyclist died after a crash at a busy crossroads near Stockbridge over the weekend. Andrew Mayer, 61, from Fairways, Andover, lost his life following a collision on June 30.
Fatal crash at crossroads
The smash occurred around 1.40pm at the junction of the B3420 and Newton Lane. A blue Hyundai collided with Mr Mayer’s motorbike, causing fatal injuries.
Family left devastated
Today, loved ones paid a heartfelt tribute. “He was a devoted father, son, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend to many,” they said. “His family and friends are left devastated by the sudden loss. No words can truly describe how deeply missed he will be.”
Call for witnesses
