Walter Klen, 60, originally from Brazil and now residing on Eynsham Road in Farmoor, is standing trial at Oxford Crown Court accused of 17 child sexual assault offences in Oxfordshire. The alleged offences date back approximately 20 years.
Klen denies all charges, which include indecent assault, sexual assault, assault by penetration, attempted rape, and inciting a child to engage in sexual activity. He moved to the UK in 2003 and faces serious allegations involving two young girls.
Fifteen of the charges relate to a girl aged between 9 and 13 in Moreton-in-Marsh, with incidents said to have occurred between 2003 and 2007. The remaining two charges concern another girl, approximately 12 years old, in Chipping Norton in 2008.
The case involves multiple victims with offences alleged to have taken place over several years in different towns across Oxfordshire. The charges cover a range of serious sexual offences spanning from 2003 to 2008.
Throughout the ongoing trial, Klen has vigorously denied all accusations. The prosecution is presenting evidence related to these historical abuse allegations at Oxford Crown Court. As of now, no verdict has been reached.
Walter Klen relocated from Brazil to the UK in 2003 and has lived in Farmoor near Oxford since then. The trial concerns offences allegedly committed shortly after his arrival in the UK.
