Fire Destroys Caravan in Trecco Bay
A roaring blaze tore through a caravan at Trecco Bay Holiday Park, Porthcawl, on Sunday evening. The fire broke out at around 7:30pm, quickly engulfing the caravan in flames.
Family Escapes Unharmed Amid Fierce Blaze
A family staying in the van managed to escape without injury. They lauded the South Wales Fire Service for their rapid response. Firefighters used two hose reels to battle the inferno and eventually extinguished the blaze.
Damage Spreads to Nearby Caravans and Vehicle
The caravan was completely gutted, along with its contents. The fire also caused damage to four other nearby caravans and a car. South Wales Fire Service confirmed they dispatched two fire appliances after receiving the emergency call at 7:30pm.
