Met Police officer PC Vinnie Finlay, who serves with the Central West command unit, has been charged with voyeurism following an incident in Kingston on Sunday, 11 May 2025.

He is scheduled to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 25 June 2025, for the initial hearing.

PC Finlay has been suspended from duty since Tuesday, 19 May 2025, after the allegations came to light.

The charges relate to a single victim and stem from an incident earlier this year in Kingston. Details of the case remain limited as it is still active.

The Metropolitan Police acted swiftly by suspending PC Finlay immediately following the allegations on 19 May, pending further investigation.

The force has reiterated its commitment to maintaining public trust and integrity throughout the process.

The case will continue through the legal system following the court appearance on 25 June.
