Major Search Underway After Jet Ski Found Adrift in Solent
A frantic search is underway after a white and burgundy Yamaha Waverunner was found drifting in the eastern Solent – with no one on board and the killcord left unplugged. A mobile phone was also discovered onboard, adding to the mystery.
Rescue Teams Scramble
HM Coastguard has launched an urgent appeal for any information about the missing owner. The jet ski, marked by a ‘201 Langstone Harbour’ sticker, was spotted adrift, sparking a major response.
Gosport Independent Lifeboat, a Coastguard helicopter, Hillhead Coastguard Rescue Team, and Calshot RNLI Lifeboat are all combing the area in a desperate hunt for the rider.
