Teen Brutally Attacked in Hove – Police Hunt Witnesses
Police are scrambling to find witnesses after a shocking assault left a 16-year-old boy seriously injured in Hove.
Bottle Attack at Night
Just after 11pm on Saturday, 1 August, the teenager was struck on the head with a bottle at the busy junction of Portland Road and Woodhouse Road.
Suspect Charged, Court Date Set
Another 16-year-old boy has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent. He is due in Lewes Crown Court for a pre-trial hearing on 3 September.
Investigation Ongoing: Police Plea
“The young victim sustained serious facial injuries requiring lengthy surgery,”
Investigator Rose Horan said. “A group of youths were nearby at the time. If you saw anything, please come forward and help us.”
